Quiet day in "El Campo"

We finally opted NOT to go to town today!  Spent the day searching for cars ... don't know what is up with that Rover in Quesada; many cars of various varieties in our price range.  Chilly today (warmer than where most all of YOU are though), windy and cool tonight.

Roy made these taco thingies w/some wonderful leftover beef & potato mixture from Isobel at Essprezzo de la Casa (it is common here, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is called), some juevos revueltos (scrambled eggs), some local cheese and some cilantro. Pretty yummy!   He only got shocked by the stove twice!  Our kitchen is a disaster, with NO room to work, so breakfasts & dinners are simple.  Mostly we just munch some fruit or veggies and call it a meal!  Probably good for us anyway.  We have found a couple of semi-drinkable wines, so there IS that!

Been trying to track our container, but the vessel tracker has had our ship just off Playa Rosarita, north of Ensanada, since the 29th.  Our container is, however, for SURE on that boat, as I've been tracking that too!

Tomorrow, we will most likely venture back down the hill to the feria, as our loaf of whole wheat sourdough is pretty much gone.  Plans on Sunday include breakfast at Javier's house for Mari's Birthday & Super Bowl in Grecia.  Who knows what Saturday will bring!  That is all part of the adventure!

Gee, 7:30 already?  Where does the day go?

Night All,
K
