Well,, we just returned from the Vet's office in Astoria where the kitties had their travel physical! Amazingly enough, Sandy was a much better cat than Kiki, but they both did well ... much meowing on the ride, but fairly quiet once we got them into the waiting room. Hopefully that will translate to the plane! They are not terribly fond of their new carriers, which was to be expected.
Then call USDA, wait for call back, get information (like is it $38/form or $38/cat) ... then try to go to the Post Office to mail forms off to USDA, only to find that one of my back car doors was ajar and battery dead ... well, not completely dead ... but wouldn't start! Sigh! On the charger for now.
All in all, our day cost us around $350 and we didn't even buy MEAT!
